We Will Rebuild Charity Game

Not every project wins an award, but some leave a lasting mark on history. These "name drops” represent moments where my work intersected with major and cultural icons.

I designed the identity for Rebound South Florida, a charity basketball game benefitting victims of Hurricane Andrew. Having the NBA approve the first design proposal and seeing superstars such as Michael Jordan (who proposed the game) wearing the shirt remains a career highlight.

The Birdcage Scene

Seeing a legendary figure like Robin Williams interact with a piece of work you created is beyond words. In this scene he unfolds a Miami Herald section featuring my Operation Angel newspaper ad.

Robert August Surf & Turf Challenge

Famous surfer and star of the 1966 documentary “The Endless Summer”, Robert August holds an annual surfing and golf competition charity event in Costa Rica. I had the privilege of designing the identity.

Georgia Bonesteel is a renowned American quilter credited with inventing “lap quilting” and hosting a long-running series on PBS. Coincidentally I paint mini Adirondack chairs with quilt patterns; a mutual friend introduced us knowing our shared interests. After learning of her favorite colors, I painted her a chair that she now keeps in her workspace.
